Uhh,,, ok. Your confusing a lot of notes with being great. Prince is truly great but is he better? That kind of inarguable, really. That's like comparing J. Page to J. Beck or John Coltrane to Charlie Parker, The Stones to The Beatles, The Who to Zeppelin. It's kind a pointless debate, really. The "music" of Prince is not better than Sly's. It's about listening; the cerebral. Performance is a preference, in some ways
(i.e.; S. Wonder). Sly produced the majority of his albums, btw.
