Yeah Starscream was treacherous, but his ghost had a point that Galvatron did a disservice to the Decepticons by destroying him. Cyclonus was a major stiff as a second in command and didn't really have the balls to tell Galvatron his plans were over the top like Starscream did for Megatron in those old days before Unicron provided that power upgrade and subsequent fated insanity that doomed the Decepticons to ultimate defeat.

Starscream was way too valuable for Megatron to dispose of because of his scientific knowledge. Megs knew that Starscream could be a dangerous and powerful ally if he kept him around. But Megatron always underestimated how dangerous Starscream was. Until Starscream finally did succeed him. But then Galvatron ended that real quick.

@XJadynX Accually Megatron does kill Starscream,he kills Starscream as Galvatron,in the Transformers Animated Movie,right after Unicron rebuilt Megatron and the rest of his injured troops.
