A video that I took in about 1992-93 from a TV show (Real TV, perhaps?) covering the career and ventures of storm chaser Warren Faidley. Includes coverage of the first storm he was able to capture on video on April 26, 1991 in Oklahoma, a tornado that formed overhead of his car, and some still shots of damage in Saragosa, TX.
(Note: I'm just putting this up because it is quite old and I haven't seen this show on in 18 years or so. Historical archive, I guess. If Warren catches this, I apologize if I'm breaking the rules, but I thought maybe you would like this like I did when it first aired in my childhood.)
Technology has come so far...look at the cell phone he is using...we called them "portable phones" back in the day. The portable fax machine and "portable" or "mobile" phones, and even the video camera to some degree, have been replaced by iPhones and smartphones!!! All that bulky equipment now fits in the palm of your hand!!! Awesome.
