Guys, Avril changed because EVERYONE GETS OLDER. If she was the same punk rock, skater girl when she's like, 27, then, it'd be weird. She stared out when she was 17, so yeah, I guess that's alright. But no artist is good without a little change! You'd get bored of the same thing, the same style of song, etc!

@CourtieCourtis I know for me, I don't care that she changed her musical style. I care that she changed her content. This song and virtually all the others on her first two albums were pure and beautiful. They taught us things and shared true emotions. Now she sings about clubbing, falling in love with a guy who spiked her drink and she cusses like every other word. I don't care if she sings pop. I just want her to still teach us the same things she did when she was 17.

@CourtieCourtis Get bored of being punk rock skater girl? Hell no! Its too much fun! And I'd never get bored.I listen to my favourite songs by her all day long with out getting bored. Thats ur oppinion. Others have theirs. I loved her back then, and I love her now.

@shoutandscreamitloud :3 That's your opinion, of course. But a lot of people would most likely get bored of the style. I understand how some people still enjoy the 'old' avril lavigne, but there would be people like, "This sounds exactly like one of the old songs!" and etc.
