@adnanaeroadnan Okinawa is a Japanese prefecture since the 19th century composed of numerous islands. The ancient language is called Okinawan, it's part of the local culture but everyone in Okinawa speaks Japanese.

@adnanaeroadnan well there is a different dialect but we still speak japanese. The dialect called uchinaaguchi is used primarily by the older people, im just a kid giving the explanation so maybe an older more knowledgable person can give you a better understanding.
