Why is his lack of English always in question? He hasn't migrated to the U.S, he's a Brazilian living in Brazil Why the fuck should he learn english? Are American who fignt in japan expected to speak fluent Japanese? Get the fuck out of here.

I could care less if Silva learns English -- Can't say I'm a fan of his antics, but there is no question he's a bad ass in the cage and I'm a fan and love watching him fight.

@ryno6192 The problem is he hasn't fought very many good wrestlers, so there's a small sample size. In the UFC he fought Henderson, who took him down in the first round and held him down the whole round, then tried to strike with him in the second and got rocked and choked out. And he fought Chael Sonnen, who took him down repeatedly and won 4 1/2 rounds til he submitted him off his back. He also was taken down at will by Travis Lutter, who is not a great wrestler, until he submitted him.

The people bitching about Silva not learning English need to get a life. They're acting like the only people who watch MMA are people who speak English. The sport is WORLD-WIDE you dumb fucks. Besides, Silva's talent & in-cage ability speak for themselves. Who cares about him not learning English, he has a translator. Also, if all you watch MMA for is to be entertained by the backstage antics of fighters, then maybe you should be watching WWE, not MMA.
