The film presents a magnificent display and blend of tradition and modernity co-existing in harmony. Its also a kaleidoscope and dynamic journey into the diverse cultures and artistic forms that define the people of Cameroon in Central Africa.

Filmed during the National Festival of Arts and Culture (FENAC 2008) in December 2008, the film presents a lively portrait of the varied cultures and people whose unity comes from their diverse cultures and traditions.

Through interviews and actuality footage structured around the traditional storytellers, the Griots, the film highlights and establishes another perspective on development and empowerment through an engagement with and expressions of indigenous cultures and contemporary art forms in modern Cameroon.

In the current climate of globalization, this film is a symbol of asserting and reviving the rich and dynamic cultural heritage. Its a renaissance and a journey of awakening for the younger generation. And for others Manu Dibango says, Welcome to Cameroon.
