"Apocalypse" was produced in 1999. This program contains a lot of good historical information about the history of apocalyptic thinking though I personally disagree with it on two important points: 1. The Bible "experts" quoted in this program make the common mistake of assuming that Jesus predicted the "end of the world" rather than the more correct "end of the age" (i.e., the end of the Old Testament age). 2. This program wrongly asserts that Johns Revelation was written after the destruction of the Jewish temple, during the reign of the Roman emperor Domitian. There is no evidence to support this - only assertions. The internal evidence of Revelation suggests an earlier date, prior to 70 AD, during the reign of Nero. Otherwise, this is a great program!
Hi - I agree with you. However, I would say it this way - we WON (past tense) 2000 years ago.
