Ok, obviously the British military was far superior to the colonial militia. America gained its independence because we knew the terrain better, used guerilla tactics, and had help from the French. But since then we've built the most powerful military on the planet, which is 10x more effective with the aid of the British military

@Ccaven I am Canadian to, born and raised. Considering going into the reserves this summer. I was not bashing my home country. Just saying that the Brits know how to make a kick ass recruitment commercial which for the mean time surpassess our recruitment video. Although under funded, the Canadian forces are one of the best military's in the world, much better than the US forces. Hell the US ARMY will take almost any one, where as Canada and the UK you have to prove your worth first.

@SnipersScope55 Yeah you got your independence, but without the help of the Dutch, the French and the native Americans, you wouldn't have won shit, you were also fighting a fraction of our army, an army that was already commited to wars in Europe and excursions in the middle east, do some real research on the War of independence, watching patriot doesn't count arsehole so fuck you
