The fix is to install the same version of the dll's as on the build machine. They will need to provide you with vcredist_x86.exe from the build machine.
The path to this file is something like: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\BootStrapper\Packag
es\vcredist_x86 -

I'm using vista and it gives me this error...
"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incoreect. Please see the application event log for more detail."
