A Wii nunchuck is cheap to buy, fits the hand perfectly and contains 2buttons, a proportional joystick and x/y/z accelerometer position sensors. If we could read the data coming from it using a low cost microcontroller such as an Arduino, the combination could form the basis of a control system for a whole host of other projects. The code is derived from that developed by Chad Phillips, see: http://windmeadow.com/node/42 I have tried others but this one seems to work best.

hi, congrats to the realization. ive got a question: im planing to control a RP6 (little robot) through the pc . I thought, when the Wii uses TWI (SDA-SCL) it would be possible to connect the nunchuck directly via serial port to the pc? do you think thats possible?
