Yes, it has, but only for photo. For shooting video ISO goes auto mode. And You can't set ISO manually for shooting video.

If I wrong, please give me some instructions...

no reason in DSLR anymore, sensor to EVF time is nothing.

If you use the exposition compensator The Nex5 will reduce the gain (= ISO) You have two stops (i believe from gain 29db to 17db)

@mijboogie But the point of a nex camera is to keep the compactness.. You can't possibly be thinking that you'd get exactly what you'd get in even a 550D sized DSLR in a nex 5. Of course it's not going to have as high quality, but the purpose is to have similar quality or even equal quality, with the highly compact size.

DSLR of canon 2011. If you buy everything voor je nex 5n camera. You are so much better off with the 7D or 5D.

I'm talking about canon lenses not carl zeiss. Those are prime lenses with no autofocus. Hasselblad is the king of camera's haha.

"bullshit" is assuming that any one tool is the best for all situations. Digital is really about designing around the sensor. Mirrorless seems to be moving us toward designs that realize that. There are designs similar to the NEX built around APS-C sensors. You could have a body that is reduced to a mount, the sensor and connections to setup to suit individual needs. That wld be much like RED and ARRI high end cameras, but affordable for us little people.

Lenses are so overpriced in the firstplace. Canon got so much better lenses for the same price.
