I still like the strait axle in the front. ZJ / WJ FTW

A decent course and no problems. Sweet.

@73ELDORADO73 what's wrong with independent front suspension? I would assume that it would give you greater range of motion and allow better control over rough terrain? I have a 2004 JGC and love the ride on and off rode but have been considering a 2005 or 2006 JCG with the Hemi. Would this be a m,istake and if so why? Why would a sold front axle be better off road other than the fact that it's much more solid? thanks for any insight!

This was by FAR the worst grand cherokee. I mean seriously independent front? that chassis was horrible, atleast the new ones are based on a very good mercedes ML chassis.

You can compare any other SUV to a Grand Cherokee. A lot of them are just as capable, but, look at how much you have to pay for them. For the money, the Grand Cherokkee cannot be matched in on/offroad performance or value. A Hummer costs about $60,000 and the foreign luxury SUV's are almost twice what the jeep costs. If you are looking for an SUV without compromise. Jeep is the one.
best SUV on the market with a jeep soul and mercedes benz 3.0ltr 510nm engine and gearbox heart.
