Another video from my performance at Fresno State University as a special guest of the Philip Lorenz Memorial Concert Series. This time I'm performing "Embraceable You" as arranged by the brilliant Johnny Morris.

  • Wow, this was fantastic. Not only was it beautifully played, but it was definitely reminiscent of Gershwin's style of arranging. The nice big clusters and the way the inner voices move are... just... GENIUS!

  • With such a short song, I found myself hoping it would last forever for so many memories, good & bad, surfaced as I was listening. It takes much more than a highly talented pianist to ilicit feelings that have become ossified over so many years; it takes a pianist who's so embedded with the Gershwin era that such music flows from his hands & fingers naturally. With Richard Glazier there is no pretentuousness. Everything is real just as the composer would want it.

    BRAVO!
