idk what your dur. and lift is on your cam but mine has alot of lift its a 232/240-565/574 they are makin more power than eneybody out there they made 421 hp and 378tq with the afr 165cc heads and that cam with a 650 carb and a 10:1 comp 302 im not sayin anything bad about your combo by no means im just sayin its not a mild kit so my next question is where did you get yours tuned at and how much was it if you dont mind me askin

a 302ci motor is not making 421hp with afr 165 heads and a 650 carb.

magazines inflate numbers to sell parts man.

I got it tuned by a local guy, and it was like $550

Mine always did too. You can't beat the bore and stroke combination. I live on an Army post where kids are handed more money than they know what to do with. Soldiers come to my house asking me to make their Camaros perform like or sound like a Mustang constantly. I tell them the easiest way to do that is to sell that piece of crap and buy a Mustang.

@gtruhljo no, i doubt your almost stock jetta can beat a 400hp foxbody. Heavy? that foxbody weighs as much as a civic lol and just cuz its american means it sucks huh? my friend owned a wrx and blew his motor twice and his tranny once lol so he bought a mustang. By the way a new mustang can beat an m3 around a race track....yea AMERICA beats germany again....just like 1945 all over again haha

they dont buy junk one has a 650 demon carb and the other has a 750 quick fuel so even if they are small carbs there not starvin one of them does have 185cc heads with a victor jr. intake and the extrem energy cam and the other has 165s with a performer rpm intake both have msd ign. they looked in ford mags at what people was doin and tryied it for their self and it worked out for them

again man im not knockin your set up but no its not a magizine there are two people at work that are over 400 with that set up not tryin to argue just askin where the dyno shop you went to was we have one here but he only has chevy software so all he can do is dyno us ford guys

your car does run real good for whats done to it and a decent runnin car period this is my first fuel injected car so im just askin someone who has been threw it already there are no tunners around here so im kinda in a tight spot and the speed shop doin my block work is tryin to get me to go carburtered but i dont really want to so i need a little help on where to go have you ever heard anything about those self programers??
