The Mary Ellen Carter - redux 4 ysabellabrave

As I mentioned this is a redo of one of the first songs I posted on YT. It's a song whose message is to never give up, fight through the tough times, endure the unendurable, depend on God and let Him guide you to your destiny.

This Stan Rogers song was passed to a friend of mine from high school by her brother when she was in a troubled time. She later passed it to me and it has been a huge inspiration. Sadly she and I have lost touch and I never had the chance to thank her for it.

When Ysabellabrave's problems mounted I passed my original upload along to her but as a reply. Of course her account was deleted and while my original is still on YT I wanted to redo the song especially for her and anyone else who is passing through a storm in their life.

I'm not a good guitar player and certainly not a singer but look beyond the messenger's shortcomings to the message, especially the last couple of verses.

No matter what you've lost, be it a home, a love a friend, like the Mary Ellen Carter...Rise Again.
