I had a 2005 Nissan Altima with MTX 15s. With the box facing back, the rattle was unbearable. I suspect this Maxima is the same way.

@Dylanscott850 I have a 2012 maxima premium with navi and 702 motoring hooked my system right into my factory screen

put the sub 12 inches away from the back of your trunk for the best reveberation. or get a box that will face upwords

It will sound louder and better if you face the subs towards the trunk around 3-4 inches away. Nice amp

@TheGamerPalace if they face forward and are sealed off from the trunck good then a yes you will have a slightly higher spl number. but it will not sound nearly as loud(deep) the whole reason people face the subs backward in a trunck is to give the sound waves time to bounce around before they hit your ear. take the advice for what its worth, im not trying to be an ass.
