Its not so much that they break the lore its just that they go so far off the epic story line that they beat around the bush so much. The fellowship has just left lorien and the game has been out for 3-4 years now.

The game looks promising to me.. i don't like the turn the history itself has taken, the lore has been smashed completely. :)
