lucky those who seen Free back then. I cant describe who deep and mature are their songs. such a young lads (18-17 y.o.). amazing song and truely beautiful solo by Koss. back then music was fantastic and people full of love. good times gone...

One of my all time favorite songs. Seems like, lately, I feel this way all the time. Strange, how the more you care about people as the years go by, people seem to care less and less about others. Still, a song like this reaffirms my faith. Anyway my love to all.

@Blasty 109 Dude I was there too and Free blew Deep purple off the stage. The greatest blues guitarist that ever was IMHO

I know what you mean, in that I should have made the effort to see Free live when I could, although I did see Bad Company in 1974.
I also feel that way about never seeing The Clash live, when a short trip into London would have been so easy for me.

The only annoying thing about this song is Rodgers and his "Yeah!" " Oh yeah!" when Paul is trying to solo..

@clikityclak
That can sometimes be annoying, but Paul is the best at that there is - I've never heard better.
Listen to my video of him doing a practice run-through of 'Guardian of the Universe'.
Or even on this video when he says
"Baby Baby Baby, that's all I gotta say ... so I'll say it again ... Baby Baby Baby "

I think that Pauk Kossof's solo is better on the LP "Free Live" - still loads of feeling though, please don't think I'm criticising !

You could be right about the guitar solo, but the best thing about this version is PR voice. It is truly inspirational.
