El haber ganado a 4 hispanas siendo la única de habla sajona en la final tiene mucho merito, quizá una de las mejores Miss Universe que haya competido y la que ha arrasado por completo con el orgullo de las organizaciones latinoamericanas.

@AftComet well, for a multi-cultural society like the US, it would be hard. American culture is known as a melting pot. If everyone only marry their own race, it will never be a melting pot. There will always be segregation, which is what is now. but yes, keeping your bloodline pure will keep the culture intact, but it is not a melting pot. to achieve a true melting pot, we have to melt EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.

@tangjkd What's there to explain? I think assimilation is the ultimate racism because you are destroying the diversity of every race. If everyone were to mix there would be no Whites, Blacks, Asians, etc. It's simple really. I have nothing against anyone, I'm friends with a lot of races. But I'll only marry within my race to keep my heritage going and so my children can look like me (figuratively speaking).
