"Clean Sheets"-- Jamie Scandal covers The Descendents

Great great song I heard for the first time in college. My friend Matt Schwaid
had a cd called "LIVEAGE" by this band called The Descendents and at first I hated it.
It was LIVE and I thought I didn't like LIVE musice...AND the title was not a real word...but the more I heard it
the more I loved it and the more I saw the genius in the words. I think maybe I couldn't relate
until the situation happened to me. Well, it did. Suddenly those sheets were dirty and I felt like the song had been WRITTEN for
me! It took many many years for me to get enough guts to get up onstage, but when I finally did
this song popped back in my mind and I decided to tackle it on the uke. I hope all the punk people won't send me hate mail like they usually do.

thanks! That makes me feel really good. I used to listen to my friend Matt's copy of LIVEAGE! every single day in college. I always wanted him to give it to me because I loved it so much...but he never did:-)

This is fantastic - as are you - THE best Descendents cover I have heard (as mentioned in other comments it is too easy to cover note for note) you apply individual style and make the song your own. I hope you are justly rewarded for the art you are creating.

Liveage was a good record and so was Hallraker Live. Good cover by the way, no body does PepTalk they have forgotten that it was Coolidge,Cleansheets, and PepTalk that were the best on that record.
