It's funny that people think Black History Month actually does something to combat racism in the world. It is pretty useless and I have a right to say that speaking as a black man. It does nothing to address the issue of racism, especially in America and Freeman is absolutely right.  No other culture relegates their history and it serves to further mitigate us and imprison us in the ideology that we are inferior to the white man because of our past.
