"Never Say Die", taken straight off the soundboard from their show at Abilene, TX on 12/7/1978. Includes an extended outro where Ozzy tells the crowd to do it "Texan style"...whatever that means...

  • sabbath is best band ever!

  • Dont ever say die,

Never Say Die is the best produced BS ozzy featured album.

Ozzy however wasn't impressed and was out of there.

    End of an era...

  • Ozzy may have been burnt as fuck by this point, but I think that adds to the soul of this song. The band was just barely hanging on by a thread by this point but they sure as hell didn't give up.

  • No Ozzy I don't like it...I fuckin' LOVE it.

    All of NSD rocks.

  • i love the sabbs but aoy is straing to sing good on this song here. the studio is awesome shit though!!!

  • @mambo09 How? It's certainly no faster than the studio recording.

  • Ozzy sounds so tired, at the beginning. Definitely showing the effects of his lifestyle. Despite that, Ozzy will always be the greatest frontman in Metal history.

  • I actually have this whole bootleg in FLAC format.

  • Ozzy went on one more show after this and then he got fired. This is one of the last shows Sabbath did with Ozzy.

  • Funny how music can blind people! Never Say Die was Ozzy's swan song with Sab. Listen to Technical Ecstacy, the album before this one; I love the album, but you can tell the producers were having trouble getting Ozzy to hit notes, stay clean to finish the album, etc. By the time Never came out, Ozzy was a lost cause, I Love Ozzy, but he was done at that point. The tunes on Never are soooo sub standard Sab, it's a crying shame; but we all know what happened next! Sharon and Hello Ozzy again!

  • @GRILLBUOY101 You really have to give a listen to Megadeth's cover. It's kickass.

  • Give me a thumbs up if you agree that modern hit music sucks.
