@FinalRustyNails to get serious macro stuff you'll ned an adaptor or a different lens as (with more practice) I've found that this one does distort objects right up close.

@ar4216 Thanks very much for the kind words :) I edited in FCP and did some minor correction with the three way colour corrector before applying a blanket "warm" grade in Colour. It's a nice lens. The only downside is that it can be a little tricky to set focus without a monitor...

@alexjit yep its a wide angle lens. Glad you liked the footage. Sorry I didn't get any big landscape stuff. Will have to shoot some more with the lens soon when I get a week off from doing corporates

Footage looks good. At least there's no messing about with home made or purpose made (and costly) DoF adaptors. I reckon there's loads of us film makers who've been waiting a long time for just such a camera that doesn't cost a kings ransom.

@TK42138 amen to that. DSLR and hybrid cams have their limitations, but they really do deliver shallow DoF on a budget.
