Franklin was one of the brightest and most honest men in our political history.

Franken, is not.

You cannot make fun of our current President for his inability to form a sentence when you cannot even get the name of the man you support correct.

The extent of his overseas experience is USO tours? Where he told jokes? I like Al, and certainly he's not the first entertainer to run for Senate, but this is less experience than Clinton or Obama. I simply find his experience overseas to be slightly questionable.

Just going to that part of the world once carries a certain level of risk. Al Franken went 4 times. Just being there and seeing what's going on with your own eyes has to be quite an experience. I'm sure that has him fairly fired up to take action on the war.
