@capodastaro first of all if you were a musician you would know its not out of key and the bends arent poor. Whoevers playing this is just playing this slower, and just messing around with the primary beat. But actually have you guys considered that this was john playing way before scar tissue was made when he was still rusty on guitar. Remember, before californication, he hadnt been playing guitar for two years. So this might be a rough version of scar tissue right when he rejoined.

@MrUrmother22 the vast majority of both his first two solo albums were recorded before he left RHCP, especially Niadria Lades. plus John has said he didnt play for a while, so i believe him over your "twitches"

@Romans10Verse9 dont forget that when the demos for this album were made, john really did just pickup guitar. when he rejoined the band, he didnt even own a guitar, he sold them off or they were burned in a house fire. john was really rusty, it could explain the simplicity on the album. have you heard niandra lades? it sounds like shit. i love it, but not that great playing. imagine john five years after that.

This couldn't be John... it's WAY too shitty. I mean NONE of this sounds like him, it sounds like a kid that just picked up the guitar. You may get rusty, but once you know a certain amount about playing guitar you don't just FORGET it. This has no feel, it's not John.
