@OreoCoockieLover One of my favorite "press releases" is from Sicily, announcing a recital to be given by the "prodigio" Piero Barone - I think it was right after the "Ti lascio ..." program, so he had to have been very well known in Sicily, as a child prodigy obviously, even before the broadcast.

When you see the quality and imagery that was put into this DVD Concert (no cheap stairs and wedding band sounding music), I'm surprised more viewer hits haven't taken place on the 5 PBS Concert videos (the 4 here from elsiegrace4 and the official PBS preview). These are the best of the IL VOLO videos on Youtube... and PBS used several million dollars worth of sound and video equipment to put this together... not some wobbly cell-phone generated sound and images....

@elsiegrace4 Hi EG4.... from what I've been told.... DVD players can be purchased (universally) that don't have "region code" requirements. But you have to ask when purchasing one.... otherwise you'll likely get a "region specific" DVD player. Not 100% sure on this, but that's what I was told.

@lizlizbff1001 For those who want to know IL Volo 's DVD of the concert for PBS in Detroit is now available for presale at amazon .com, It is called IL volo takes flight. It is in DVD , Blue ray and Cd formats, the release date is February 28Th!

@0o8ShOrTii8o0 I just learned that the DVD is available for pre-order on Amazon.com and it's supposed to be released on February 28. But I think it's a Region 1 DVD (U.S. and Canada) so it might not work on DVD players in other countries...I'm not sure. Anyway, it's called Il Volo Takes Flight: Live From the Detroit Opera House.
