Valveless Thermojet Pulse Jet Engine

This Engine was purchased on Ebay. I modified the Injectors to a smaller size and increased the flare of the tailpipe. The engine is started with a torch to the intake as the propane is turned on. Once the engine is rumbling the propane is turned up slightly (a sweet spot is present) and the engine will start to pulse. If the propame is turned up too far (past the "sweet spot") a shot of air in the intake will start it.

You could build that was 3 or 4 time bigger that would definitely power a bike.

The engine is made from Stainless Steel. It's about 20ga.

Thrust is suposed to be 1 3/4 lb. I have a set up to measure it almost ready. I"ll post it when I measure it.

@colinclarke1000 yes it is possible,you just have to vary the amount of fuel sent into the combustion chamber..They have got good throttling range..

I do not get with q causes my engine to suck the air into the engine will termojet q may be the type of gas I'm using butane gas of cusine I do qq
