yeah i know its risky but it is easy to do .NASA must ave the technogoly speacial designed nuks to blow up theses asteriods.the world will end by the earth climate not by a silly asteriod.

HI im a girl who is concerned about this impact, Telling a comet is going to hit Earth in about 26 years!So the best thing to do is some how contact our prime ministers to build a underground camp for us to stay when it really happens when this happens Earth will return to another Age called the Ice Age, There will be smog covering the sun it lasts more than 1 year

But there is hope for such things called nuclear bombs it can help us destroy earth threatling things like a comet but there is 50% Chance that it will miss and the comet would head 4 earth Rememeber The human race depends on us

Hello,
A large impact of either a meteor or a comet will create eject a tremendous amount of material causing substantial cooling of the Earth( dust in atmosphere reflects light back into space). So while it is not "nuclear" , it has the same global cooling effect as there would be in a global nuclear war
