Omar coulda sing de phone book and he would still rock it...one of the most beautiful voices on the planet...Jamaica is most definitely wrapped up in his vocal idioms. He is fabulously carrying on the musical family tradition of his dad, Adrian, who was one of the greatest ska drummers.

Omar's voice is a backdrop to the visual historical pictorial. These black and white photos are very thought provoking. This is an Afro-centric journey. We see the Black protest, lynchings, Marcus Garvey, Jack Johnson, slaves, black share croppers,black union soldiers, musicians, politicians, and of course Emperor Haile Selassie. We can refelect on our roots.
