The answer to the question is, YES, it is hard to build stairs. If you can build a set of stairs and hang a door, you can build a house. It's like anything else... learn about it, and it will seem natural to you.

lol i used to be apprentice for a year on building decks and calculating the stairs was black magic for me i would just sometimes cut the notches out but the old dogs would draw them out first
