  • This music makes me wish that I was part of my dad’s generation. If they thought that Disco sucked back then, I bet they never would have dreamed that today’s music could suck as bad as it does.

  • born in 1958 and 4 way street is a must have for my generation, so roll one up, sit back and enjoy

  • SUPER-GROUP!

  • I would definitely gift my left one to be there, somewhere in the front preferably, to see them do this. This is mind blowing music. The likes of which we will never see again.

  • exquisite

  • Disco wasn't the problem. The record industry always was. Turn off the radio.

  • @BigJonBone Lord I know thats right. I am 24 and Raised on classic rock. The shit they have now is crap, just as bad if not worse than disco.

  • takes me back to when I was a lil' kid. Dad would always play this kind of music.

  • @chrislongski1 I'm glad someone else noticed, They were egging each other on, bringing out the best sounds the ears can hear.

  • Me and my pops used to rock out some air guitar to this song on his over powered JVC at 3 in the morning. This is my favorite song of all time. I played it at full volume 2 hours after he passed away and felt nothing but joy as his spirit sat next to me. "This is usually a really long song folks. And we're gonna do it real slow tonight"

  • back in the day in the early 70's ,neil young was an icon,we dressed like him, patches on our jeans, work boots---boondocks,flannel shirts, shoulder length hair, neil was the man,it was all about the music

  • "Skynyrd understood Southern Man very well, the song is very generalized, not all southern men are guilty or have anything to repay."

Actually, producer Al Kooper, who knew both sides in the Southern Man- Sweet Home Alabama controversy, brokered the Skynard reference to Neil, who thought it was funny.

How do I know? I was alive then and heard a radio interview with Kooper while I was in Miami trying to score 'lombo Gold !
