The challenge: We need to raise 14 days to $7000 (NZD) 14th October - 28th October.

Edventure Nepal is a non-profit organisation established with the primary objective of helping the underprivileged children of Nepal. Global statistics state that over 80% of young working children have illiterate parents. Based in Pokhara, Edventure Nepal aims to provide the basic needs of food, shelter, clothing, health, wellbeing and education to the disadvantaged children who have become victims of social and political injustices, which are widespread in the Nepalese society. The 'Ed' in Edventure Nepal represents Education and we feel strongly that providing basic needs to the poor children of this impoverished is not less than an adventure.

Edventure is committed to providing as close to a 'real' home environment as possible for the children we rescue. We take only as many children as we can comfortably accommodate so as to provide a nurturing and family like environment for the needy children and plan to expand slowly so as to provide this kind of environment.

Edventure Nepal is registered (registration No 2631/ 32882) with Government of Nepal as a Non -- Government Organisation to carry out child welfare services. It is also duly affiliated with the social welfare council, Nepal Government and the governing and monitoring body for all social organisations working in Nepal.
