@techberry89 I THINK he means diversifying for the sake of diversifying...aka doing it to spread risk around. He owns companies in all of those industries because he thinks they're great buys, not just to spread risk. I've heard him say diversifying is a protection against ignorance...but you're right - technically he is diversified

millions of people DON'T trust him with their money, he runs a limited partnership( Under 100 partners)

@techberry89 Because Berkshire have a ridiculous amount of money. Therefore, they have to diversify just to invest the money they have. Like he said in a previous video, if Berkshire were smaller the returns would be much higher because they could concentrate the money in small high-performing assets. However, because they are so big they have to spread the money around.

The man is such a humble, folksy , intelligent gentleman. He just ozoses integrity and class. I can see why millions of people have trusted with him control there hard earned money. If more Wall Street Bankers and CEO's were like him we would not be in the economic trouble were in today.
