-
@jamersonshook -sounds great! what kind of mute do you use? just a piece of foam? did jamerson use one aswell?
-
love the tone, and I can hear that high tension of the strings in your playing which I love. I want to get these strings for my active yamaha rbx 374, do you think they will work, or will the high tension be bad? Thank and great playing :-)

you got the jamerson tone down pretty good. beautiful bass.
-
so these strings are called La Bella 1954 jame jamerson flatwounds?
-
living colour ftw

nice playing man, btw i have a cheap ($89) sx p bass are these strings worth the investment?
Do you think a squire P-bass could stand the tension of these strings? I cant afford a standard american "Funk machine", but I was thinking of modifying the "Squier Classic Vibe '60s Precision Bass Guitar". Let me know what you think. Also have you tried "a bell and foam" with these strings.
Great tone BTW :-) Keep those videos coming.
