The Haitian Health Foundation provides health care, development, relief, and the hope of a future to over 225,000 of the poorest people in over 100 rural mountain villages in southwestern Haiti. This brief video outlines the issues surrounding Kwashiorkor, a protein deficiency malnourishment that plagues Haitian families. Voiceovers include Dr. Declan Doogan, an HHF volunteer, former Senior Vice President of Pfizer Research and Development and currently the President and Co-Founder of WeAre.Us, and Sheila Marshall RN, a full-time volunteer who oversees the Kwashiorkor Rehabilitation Program.
