James Stewart Slams into Jason Thomas at Houston 2011 Supercross Main

After a crash in the first turn left him close to last place at the Houston Supercross this past Saturday night, San Manuel Yamaha's James Stewart went for a triple to try to get by BBMX Suzuki's Jason Thomas #47, and ended up slamming into him. Thomas went for the double, coming up short, and James TRIPLED the jump, and they came together after Stewart had worked his way up to 11th. James continued on, eventually getting lapped later in the race, while Thomas had to drop out due to some apparent leg pain. That was a VERY STUPID & DANGEROUS move that Stewart pulled. James wound up 15th in the race and 9 pts. behind Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto. Take a look and tell me if you believe this is the REAL kind of rider James REALLY is.

@34mxrider Yeah so, it's not against the rules to take the same line as another rider. 47 missed his jump plain and simple. There are many variables you can add to the equation in hindsight that could keep the crash from happening. In the same instance without the foreknowledge of what is going to happen, all those varibles could have the same outcome. Which is why I say it is just Racing, unpredictable, shit happens, no ones fault.

@AMG348 haha dam this is motocross not no game like soccer, football ect... that why people sign waivers to race or even just practice on tracks... i dont know why people hate james stewart for being the fastest man on a dirtbike...

@AMG348 Totally agreed! Stewart has done nothing but cause trouble ever since Toronto '06, and the AMA is just sweeping it under the rug as if nothing happened.

@figueroaedgar15 ya well if there good enuf to make it to the main in pro level then thats an acompleshment all in its self. and also if anything it should be illegal for stweart to race cause all he dose is crash ant least thelappers can finsh a race/ race season with out crashing

@MathewV21688 ohh my bad yaa he was working his way up... but james is a chill guy. i would have don the same thing, he just didnt know that that guy was gana clip the little double...every fast racer will ride dirty to win.
