I live in South Carolina and I usually attend the Aiken Memorial Day Parade. They always have a good one. As Memorial Day draws near, let us all remember what it's all about. There was a child that thought Memorial Day was the day that the local swimming pool opened. But it goes much deeper than that. On April 1, 1945, my uncle was killed in action in Germany, right before World War II ended. Where would we be today if he & others had not made that sacrifice? Think about it.
