'89 C1500

Took five months, but I swapped in a new 4.3L into my 1989 C1500 RCSB. Motor is from a 1988. I purchased a new box from Texas for $1200 and welded in a roll pan. Swapped in some Honda SiR buckets. Took the G80 from another truck and fabbed up some new shock mounts. I am installing a rear disc brake conversion kit this winter to complement the suspension work I did last year. The truck sits on drop spindles and coils up front and a flip kit out back sitting on 235/75/R15s with 7" Ralleys. The truck is currently in shop getting painted Indigo Blue.

Clean daily driver.

did the same thing with my 91. the v6 is way underpowered for that size truck. btw like the open headers :D too loud for me

@dirtbikedude100 not really, considering the v6 weighs less than the v8 and only has 30-40hp less than the v8, which can easily be balanced out because of the less weight.
