Frame taken every 8 seconds using automatic settings

Recorded in Clacton On Sea, Essex

(cropped and sped up to fit)

A total of 3,969 frames were taken over 12 hours from 7:30am until 6pm.
Canon SX200 IS - CHDK Firmware with Interval1.bas script
Images taken at 8 Megapixels - 3264x2448 pixels at normal quality.
Compiled with mEncoder mf:// functionality then converted with ffmpeg.

  • @rozhenghost You can get an AC Adapter for most cameras, e.g. ACK-DC30.

  • This video is so cool!! I just found out about CHDK. I also own an SX200 IS,I was wondering, have you tried RAW recording and/or bracketing with CHDK?

  • Woah! Thanks! CHDK is excellent! I've had a little play with RAW and disabling dark frame subtraction, but not really got very far with it, bracketing or even HDR, but I want to!
