Málaga é uma cidade da Andaluzia, na Espanha. Capital da província homônima, localiza-se na costa sul do país, no Mediterrâneo. A cidade originou-se da uma colônia grega na antiguidade clássica. É a quinta cidade do país, com mais de 560 mil habitantes. Foi fundada pelos fenícios no século XII a.C. Foi incorporada na coroa de Castela em 1487.

Málaga is a port city in Andalusia, southern Spain, on the Costa del Sol coast of the Mediterranean. At the 2008 census the population is 566,447.
The population of the metropolitan area (urban area plus satellite towns) is 1.100.082, ranking as the fifth largest metropolitan area in Spain. Málaga is surrounded by mountains, lying in the southern base of the Axarquía hills, and two rivers, the Guadalmedina - the historic center is located on its left bank - and the Guadalhorce, which flows west of the city into the Mediterranean.
The inner city of Málaga is just behind the harbour. The quarters of El Perchel, La Trinidad and Lagunillas surround this centre. The city has much revenue from the agricultural sector and from tourism.
The Holy Week, and the Málaga Fair ("Feria de Málaga") are two well-known Málaga festivals. The Malaguenos choose the hottest month of the year, August, to celebrate the Feria de Malaga. The streets are transformed into symbols of Spanish culture and history, with sweet wine, tapas, and live flamenco shows filling the town. The day events consist of live music and dancing, while the night fair is moved to the Recinto Ferial, consisting of restaurants, clubs, and an entire fair ground with rides & games.

Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga
La Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica de la Encarnación es la Catedral de Málaga (España), una de las joyas renacentistas más valiosas de Andalucía. Está dentro de los límites que marcaba la desaparecida muralla árabe, formando un gran conjunto arquitectónico junto con la próxima Alcazaba y Castillo de Gibralfaro. Fue construida entre 1528 y 1782, siguiendo los planos de Diego de Siloé.
El interior es de estilo renacentista. La Basílica, de planta rectangular, está compuesta por tres naves, siendo la del centro de mayor anchura que las laterales, pero todas iguales en altura. La sillería del coro, obra de Pedro de Mena, es una verdadera obra de arte.
