  • Finally, help for the background actors! Thanks!

  • I'm also a background artist. One thing I disagree with you is how you seem to take offense to being called an "extra". The thing that separates extras from principal actors, is extras are very replaceable. Often times on sets I hear a few extras talking who have huge egos... when in reality they are only trying to make up for the fact that they're walking in the background for 2 seconds. If you land a principal extras gig... well, then you just made it to the next level. :)

  • What films have you worked on? I IMDB'd you and had no luck.

  • whats up with these fees??? Ive always heard real agencies never chare you and only take commision after they have gotten you work.

  • LOL!!! I am an extra in Los Angeles, CA. Everyone needs to just chill-out about the "professsion". Its a minimum wage job (although usually 8 hours of pay are garanteed) and obtaining employement is as simple as filling an application and BAMM, you're hired with a few casting agencies. NO TALENT REQUIRED!! It isn't that great because you spend ALL of your free-time trying to make sure you get work for the next day. I average 10-12 hours a day. Even full time is less than 2K a month in pocket!

  • Girl you an extra. No classes needed. Act like an adult and keep quiet. done&done.

  • When you talk about being an "extra", you know, it could be short for extra SPECIAL!! :) Don't worry about it, they still need you.

  • Extras dont get IMDB,d.If you want to be an actor dont be an EXTRA!!!

  • you talk to damn much about bullshitt..i wanna act not listen to you
