Lyrics below.
Hope Has Wings
by Stacy M. Grubb, BMI
How did you get to be so beautiful?
So wonderfully wonderful?
Just look at all you are and do
Giving my hope a bird's eye view
Wouldn't I be so glad to be just like you
CHORUS:
You singer of songs, you dreamer of dreams
You maker of art and beautiful things
Weaver of words with melodious strings
Reminding us all that hope has wings
Reminding us all that hope has wings
Oh, you're just what my broken soul needs
Floating hope on the wind like little seeds
Many waters much stronger than I
Cannot drown hope when it takes to the sky
So you gave it feathers and taught it to fly
(repeat Chorus)

An beautiful orijinal song!
"Ah, I bet humans were all birds long, long ago.
That's why we pine for the skies."

@altadena57 Your version of Angel Band just rears me up every time I listen to it. I'd like to be able to hear your words and voice more on this song. Your voice is so honest and real; Please don't "polish it up" too much, as you progress through your experiences in Nashville, and wherever else your singing takes you. Thanks so much for such beauty.

Hi Stacey; Hope you can consider this a constructive criticism: I notice now that you're using a pick to strum, instead of your thumb, as you did on all of your earlier vid's. Realize that when using a pick, (and a higher quality, better sounding / louder guitar, it seems?), the volume level of the guitar strumming is much louder than when using the soft side of your thumb. IMHO, you need to have the guitar much less in the mix, so your voice stands out much more, like on Angel Band

Top 5 tallents to come from West Virginia? Lets see: Red Sovine, Jimmy Dickens, Kathy Mattea, Don Knotts, Stacy Grubb? Could be! By the way if you think Don Knotts was always a knucklehead and couldn't sing, check out the clip on you tube singing Church in the Wildwood on the Andy Griffeth Show.
