Hold On-A Jonas Brothers Love Story- Chapter One-"We're Moving?!"



"Boys! Come down here for a minute, your dad and I need to talk to you." the boys mom yelled.
"Ok coming!" the oldest boy yelled down the stairs
"Aw man, what'd you do this time Joe?" the youngest brother asked, crossing his arms and looking at his older brother.
"Me! Why do you automatically think I did something? What about you Nicholas! It could be something you did." Joe said, glaring at Nick.
"I didn't do anything, i'm the good child." Nick said, grinning sweetly at Joe. Joe just glared at him.
"Ok you two, knock it off." the oldest brother said.
"Yes mommy." Joe said, grinning. Nick laughed and high-fived Joe.
"Come on,lets go see what mom and dad want." he said, heading downstairs, his brothers following.
Joe tripped on the last step and almost went headfirst into the floor, but his brother caught him just in time.
"Thanks Kev." He said, breathing a sigh of relief.
"No problem, next time go slower." Kevin said, grinning at him.
"Yes mother."Joe said, trying to keep a straight face.
"I am not your mother!" Kevin said, smacking Joe on the back of the head.
"Ok ok, touch-ey." Joe said, backing away from Kevin.
The boys walked into the living room and saw their parents sitting on the couch. They looked like something was wrong.
"What is it? Whats wrong?" Kevin asked, nervously.
"What happened?" Nick asked.
"I'm sorry." Joe said, Nick and Kevin just looked at him.
"What?" He mouthed, looking back at them.
"Boys, boys, calm down. Nothing bad's happened, at least not too anyone or anything. But we do have some kind of big news, and i'm not sure you are gonna like it." their mom said.
"Ok, so whats the big news?" Kevin asked, speaking for him and his brothers. They were all pretty confused at this point.
"Boys...we're moving." Their dad said, looking at them with a sad face, because he knew they would not be very happy about moving.
"What!?!!?" Kevin, Joe and Nick yelled at the same time.
"We're moving. I'm being transferred with work. I have no choice boys, i'm so sorry." their dad said.
"Its ok Dad, its not your fault." Kevin said, trying to pretend like he didn't care.
Joe and Nick were still in shock, but Joe managed to get out the one question on his mind.
"Where?" He asked, scared of what his Dad would say.
"California." Their dad answered. Looking at his boys. Knowing this was alot to take in.
"California!!!" They yelled.
"That's so far away!" Joe yelled, looking really upset. All his friends were here in New Jersey, he didn't want to leave.
"What about school? And our friends?" Nick asked quietly, looking as upset as Joe was. All his friends were here too of course, and a girl he thought he loved, it was going to break his heart to leave her.
"We're so sorry boys, you know we would do anything to stay here, but we just can't. Maybe you'll like LA." their mom said, trying to cheer the boys up.
"We know your not doing it on purpose mom, we understand." Kevin said, again speaking for all three of them. He tried to smile, but it looked more like a frown. Joe and Nick still looked like they were in shock, Nick was just staring at the ground and Joe was just standing there staring out the window.
"Yeah what Kevin said."Joe said, looking at his parents, and trying to smile as well. Nick didn't say anything, he couldn't. He knew if he did, he might yell and he didn't want to do that. His parents were already upset enough as it was.
"Thank you boys for understanding, we don't leave for two weeks, so you'll have some time to spend with your friends before we leave.You can go on back upstairs now, I'll call you when suppers ready." Their mom said, standing up and hugging each of the boys and giving them a kiss on the cheek.
"We are really sorry." She said again.
"Its ok mom, don't be so upset." Kevin said, hugging her back.
Their dad came and patted each of them on the back.
"I'm very proud of how well you handled this boys, If there was any way I could make it so we could stay, you know I would." he said.
"Yeah, we know. Thanks dad." Joe said, turning and heading to the stairs. Kevin and Nick followed.They were all still in shock.
Joe went into his room and Kevin and Nick just followed him.
They needed to talk.
As soon as they closed the door, Joe exploded.
"Ahh! This is so unfair!" He yelled, flinging himself on the bed....


There you have it,the long awaited(well it seemed long to me (; lol) first chapter of my all new series!!! Please comment and tell me what you think!! i love hearing what ya'll think!
