I cannot believe he can do more than 5 pirouettes...AND land on his KNEES. I'm in ballet class and I am still not good at pirouettes...I have no idea why.!

@moviefoyer78 -Thank You for that infomation. I was there that fantastic DonQ night with Xiomara Reyes. Do you know repertoire he will be dancing?

Rolando substituted for an injured Herman Cornejo at the ABT in NYC. He danced DonQ and he was wonderful. He is also scheduled to appear next season with the ABT, which is great, since he needs a permanent company.

The man is a god of dance. What impeccable lines and control. Talk about technique to burn. The grand jete into the arabesque not to mention the pirouette a la seconde in the coda should be studied by every classical male ballet student the world over. Exceptional in every respect.
