@splicedenergy If you have a government with a lot of power, then individuals who SEEK power will do anything they can to obtain it. That is why we must have a system of government that has to follow the same laws that individuals must follow. If we cannot kill or steal from each other, then the government cannot either. Does that sound extreme to you?

@splicedenergy But our rights come from our humanity. You don't have to believe in God to believe that ALL humans have the same natural born rights. If laws are based on rights, then you have a system of government that allows people to be free. But when government starts to pass laws that breaks your individual rights, you no longer live in a free country, you live in tyranny.

@splicedenergy I brought him a bible and he didn't say much. The next day he called me and asked if I had a cop come to his room and read from it and I said no. He said He read from the book of Jobe and described it to me. He was correct. after that he gave his life to Christ through another christian friend. And the night before he died a year and a half later he call for me to come see him. He was a good friend.

@splicedenergy Plus, I would rather talk to you. Just because we don't agree does not mean we can not be friends. I have many friends who don't believe. All I can do is live by example and God does the rest. I had an atheist friend who was a biologist and we became friends after some years. We would have discussions about the same things we are talking about and he would say the same things you do. After some years he was ill in the hospital and he called for me to come and see him.

@splicedenergy Thats what I do for a living I solve problems. I also play manny different instruments and write my own music. I know electric, Plumbing, I can build an entire house from the ground up, I fix my own cars, I can do anything i decide to do through the power of God. What can you do?

I do not need to defend my faith. however I am talking to you the best way I know how about the things I feel. To understand what I know, it can not just be handed to you and you will see it, Otherwise those who would steel it would. You must put it into sincere practice. Otherwise trust in the world and in yourself see where that gets you. I have and it does not work.
