Lawrence O'Donnell joined the panel on MSNBC's Morning Joe on Thursday and got into a heated debate with host Joe Scarborough over Dick Cheney's recent remarks accusing the Obama administration of "dithering while America's armed forces are in danger" and "putting politics over security and turning the guns on our own guys."
Scarborough tried to defend Cheney, stating that while he personally disagrees with the former vice president's comments, Cheney "speaks for a large chunk of America who is far more aggressive in foreign policy than those of us that live inside this bubble."
O'Donnell jumped into the conversation, leveling heavy criticism at Cheney.

  • O'Donell is a liar & ignores the facts to spew his liberal crap. Bush & Cheney acted on information that was given to them. To further add to the reasons why we went to Iraq: Hussein aided & abetted terrorists; after we wounded Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in Afghanistan, he ran to IRAQ for medical aid and a place to hide. While in Iraq, Zarqawi led several terror attacks, beheaded Nicholas Berg, and started al-Qaeda in Ira; Saddam paid the families of suicide bombers; he aided several other terrorists.

  • @CasperCee acted on information that was given to them? they wanted to attack iraq from the very beginning. and it's true. cheney was a liar, and the american people knows it.

  • Superplatanoman Hussein aided & abetted terrorists and terrorist groups: Abu Abbas, Abu Nidal, Abdul Rahman Yasin, Abu Musab al Zarqawi and Middle Eastern terrorist groups (ie. Abu Nidal Organization, Alsar al-Islam, Arab Liberation Front, Hamas (friends of Obama), Kurdistan Workers Party [PKK], Mujahedin-e-Khalq [MEK], Abu Sayyaf, and Palestine Liberation Front). The one person who became of importance & had close ties to al-Qaeda is Abu Musab al Zarqawi.

    What did Cheney lie about?

  • @CasperCee are we talking about the same thing? Saudi Arabia also aided and abetted terrorist. We are talking about WMD's. There was none found. And please dont tell me that he used it on the Kurds. Yes, I know that. But that what Cheny and company based the war on.

  • @Superplatanoman You clearly are a representation, with your poor grammar and irrational logic, of the type of people who support the beliefs you set forward- it is the uneducated who continually take information they hear, and because they don't support that view, they call it a lie. Idiots like O'Donnell love to point the finger at republicans for warmongering when the wars were supported by most of the democrats in congress.

  • 7:47 "Its not lying if you believe its true...."

  • @MusicIzMySavior The stupidity, the lack of knowledge coming from the idiots on the left amazes me. Of course, you are another brain-dead lib who thinks Saddam Hussein, "The Butcher of Bagdad", was just a leader who never did anything wrong. You ignore the 5,000 people he killed with chemical weapons; the 400,000 PLUS people he buried in mass graves after slaughtering them;

  • @MusicIzMySavior You ignore the many different terrorists and terrorist groups he provided aid, cash diplomatic aid, training and safe haven to; the terrorist suicide bomber's families that were paid by up to $25,000 by Hussein; that Abu Abbas - former secretary general for the Palestine Liberation Front - who, after hijacking the Achille Lauro and was caught, was set free because he had an Iraqi diplomatic passport - honored by Hussein.

  • @MusicIzMySavior You are such a brain dead idiot. Hussein killed people - KURDISH people with chemical weapons. The PKK WAS AGAINST THE KURDS!!!! Hussein and the PKK were ON THE SAME SIDE!!! In the late 1980s, Hussein allowed the PKK to operate against the Iraqi Kurds.

  • @CasperCee Saddam fought the iranians, and fought those militants, he was a staunch secularist you fucking dipshit.

  • @CasperCee Yes SADDAM didn't support terrorism, you are talking about intelligence? You lack it my friend, iv seen your profile, you are 1 of those far right yanks who think their the greatest patriot lol with an iq the size of a pea lol. You are a loser. You said saddam supporter the PKK? lol the pkk wanted to topple saddam you fucking idiot, he was against alqaeda, all those terrorists you listed, he had no connection to you fucking hillbilly, go back to your farm and shovel some shit

  • @MusicIzMySavior I can't believe I am replying to an idiots who can't speak or think on an intelligent level - it's a waste of time because people like you are too stupid to learn anything.... but I'll give it a shot.

    When Bush spoke at Ground Zero a week after 9-11, he said we are not only going after the men who committed the attacks but those who aid and abet terrorists.

  • @MusicIzMySavior Hussein did not play part in 9-11. BUT, he did have WMDs. Look up "Bloody Friday", "Chemical Massacre", and "Salmon Pak - Iraq Special Weapon Facilities". He was making efforts to gain more weapons and wanted nuclear weapons. He allowed terror training camps in Iraq. Look up "Assorted Babble: Saddam's Terror Training Camps".

  • @MusicIzMySavior Hussein also aided and abetted terrorists & terrorist groups: Abu Abbas, Abu Nidal, Abdul Rahman Yasin, Abu Musab al Zarqawi and Middle Eastern terrorist groups (ie. Abu Nidal Organization, Alsar al-Islam, Arab Liberation Front, Hamas (friends of Obama), Kurdistan Workers Party [PKK], Mujahedin-e-Khalq [MEK], Abu Sayyaf, and Palestine Liberation Front). The one person who became of importance & had close ties to al-Qaeda is Abu Musab al Zarqawi.
