While Canton's Cool Ghoul may be considered by some a "cheap imitation" of Dick Van Hoene, Cincinnati Cool Ghoul, George Cavender developed the character with full permission and blessing from Van Hoene himself..Would love to see actuial stuff from the old channel 17 days..

What the Hell! That's not the real Cool Ghoul! The real Cool Ghoul was created by Dick Von Hoene in the mid 60's! He aired on 19wxix in Cincinnati! This is a cheap immitation of the original!

I can't believe I found the Cool Ghoul (George Cavender) after all these years - He was first seen on Wjan in Canton, Ohio-- in the early 1970's He's still doing that part . Not sure what part of the country he is on -- I hope my sister Carol see's this . She won a date with him in 1971---
