GaryMule, could you please do a video on splinting fractures such as arm and wrist as well as leg and ankle? I broke both bones in my right arm falling down some steps and all I could do was to support my arm to keep it from dangling and maybe cutting arteries etc. by using a large magazine and a towel until I could get to the emergency room. Please give us an emergency way of taking care of it in case we had no medical care available, thanks.

I meant to tell you in my first post . . . you're doing a good job, but please stop apologizing. It makes you sound weak, & most of us know that most of us are not movie producers, so we care more about the content of what you're trying to say, than on minor mistakes. Good information! I'm an RN w/ experience primarily in medical-surgical hospital settings, home health, and teaching nursing students. I'm new as a prepper. How best to get IV fluid & basic prescription meds if I don't have them? I've been in the medico-legal field for the last 15 years, so am not connected with doctors. Any suggestions? Thanks, and keep up the good work!

@MsJudi54 I wish I had a good answer for you. I got these from a friend. You can go to shop med vet . com but they require a script. Perhaps you can check ebay, I will look around. I start RN school next Jan, if they take me that is...

I'd stock up on plenty of condoms and vaseline. No telling when ur gonna have to barter sum of ur resources for sum female "interaction" with other clans/groups. That and plenty of ammo for "requisitioning" other supplies from ur neighbors.
