@SquigleMcBiggles No, I totally get that. I understand that it's not dubstep, I was merely pointing out the irony of a sound ("wub") distinctly associated with dubstep being used in Drum n Bass. If it were actually a common sound to use in techno music, I would not have even noticed, but there is the MYTHICAL wub. I haven't even heard it in ACTUAL dubstep, let alone its underappreciated genre-siblings.
